In an interview with the newspaper Novaya Gazeta, the President of Russia talked about well-being and freedom, the elections in Sochi, the Yukos case, independent voters, censorship on the Internet and the “rehabilitation of democracy”.

President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev answered Novaya Gazeta’s questions on April 13, 2009 at the Gorki presidential residence. He remarked: “this is my first interview for a Russian newspaper, but this tradition will continue with other newspapers as well.”
