In all large cities of France the groups of activists will dramatize the crime committed on 7 October 2006 in Lesnaya Street in Moscow. They will be carrying Anna’s portrait with a slogan on it “Russia: the killed freedom”. According to the organizers and participants, that is to draw attention by people and reflect in a symbolical form the cause of Anna Politkovskaya, also the barriers and obstacles dealt with in Russia by all journalists and human rights activists.       

The actions began on 1st October and will last till 15th October.  

The according pages of the site of  Amnesty International, dedicated to the event, will be publishing the photo accounts of the actions done.
