38 people have been killed by the Nazi youth groups in Russia during last three months. The murders – that look like ritual ones, when every member of the assault is made to knife the victim – is only the visible peak of the recruiting activities by the groups called “skinheads”.  

That means that an active recruitment process is going on.

16 March was featured with 4 killings of Tajiks in Moscow: it happened simultaneously in the west, east, south and north of the capital. The most stupid operative agent would understand that was a so called “hunting”, a planned terrorist action. 

In the mean time, all the investigations on the skinhead’s cases reaching the trials were the outcomes of the police working within the frames of criminal cases on the counts of “murder out of acts of hooliganism”, or “severe body injury” caused with everyday-life “domestic” conflicts. The Tesak’s case, who got behind the bars for his public statements made in Bilingua café in the nationalist way, is just an exception. 

Well, we all know the state of our police service. But there is another very powerful law enforcement body whose one of responsibilities is struggling against Nazis. That’s FSB, and in particular that’s the Service for protection of the Constitutional system and struggle against terrorism.    

We have heard rather much lately about working by FSB. Much as its activity is a state secret, we know for sure it was its officers to make up the false story of the hiding-stone for English spies. It was FSB officers to put to prison the scientists for their works written with the use of open sources of information. We know it was FSB to supervise all the measures directed against the nationalist bolshevist party. We know that FSB planted its agents to the United Civil Front of Garry Kasparov, and it was FSB to find the spies in a British oil company BP and those spies had been hiding “calling cards” in their pockets – just to make it easier to expose them! - proving they are workers for western special services.     

I wouldn’t like to assess all those actions and recall all those “crowds” of attached FSB officers who worked against ex-NTV journalists or for destroying YUKOS. But I do want to know if those guys are doing a letter case on Nazi organizations existing in Russia. And such a job cannot be reduced to just control-supervision measures.

Is there any analysis of statistics going on, based on the inner documentation? And isn’t it clear that numerous killings and registered armed attacks have created the unique opportunities for recruiting the sources of information and penetration the Nazi groups by special agents? And it is known that agential working must result in trials and splitting the criminal groups on the basis of mutual competition provoked by special services, and in discrediting of the leaders of the newly-appeared Russian fascism.

Otherwise, what’s the sense of FSB? Isn’t it about time it served those seeking for protection and served the state where fascist ideas are getting spread like a cancer among depressive Russian suburbs? I’m not going to reproach the FSB personnel, but I can’t help reminding their leadership of what they have forgotten.    

Dear Sirs! You can see the mass armed organizations acting secretly and enlarging their activities and choosing terror and killings as the main tool for their political doctrine realization, the doctrine intended for tearing up the foundations of our Constitution. Can you find a single word that would be incorrect in definition above? So struggling against them is absolutely your profile.     

You must have organized long ago the work about skinheads and have penetrated their bands. You must have counted and registered all of them. You must have destroyed their organizations and have received your decorations. And then you must have developed the preventive measures and carry them out jointly with the community. I understand that fascists are no national bolshevists with their childlike bravado, cakes thrown into faces and so on. But wasn’t your organization created for coping with really serious tasks?       

The time has come when the image of an organization resisting the evil – the image cultivated so strenuously by FSB – can really coincide with the expectations by the whole community. And then more scenarios for heroic movies and more plots for heroic books would appear dedicated to the glorious special services. And you like very much to award the authors of such books and movies with the state and departmental prizes. 

Why haven’t we heard so far any statement by FSB about skinheads as the bearers of an aggressive antistate concept? There must be no secrecy about this point. Secrecy is good for concrete operations. It would be enough to declare decisively on the top government level the beginning of such a struggle, to make the major part of socially inert masses, supporting the skinhead fighters with sympathetic speeches, to dissociate from it just to be on the safe side. The attitude by the state itself, articulated clearly and resolutely, would be a powerful means of prevention.   

Otherwise, Russia, where 180 peoples are living and where only two out of three persons are Russians, would just collapse. 

The complex of problems challenging the special services is clear. The personnel do not have real motives for such working, and a considerable number of the law enforcement workers share partly the views of domestic everyday nationalism. But even the white employees of FBI were made in their time to destroy the Ku-Klux-Klan.
