I seem to be supposed to respond to a series of the statements made by Chechen colleagues at my address. I do it with reluctance here.  

Yes, I have made a statement saying I don’t want to belong to any union (including Union of Journalists) with Ramzan Kadyrov as one of the members. This is my right. I can decide what I want and what I don’t. There is no sense joining me forcibly. You know well it usually ends badly.  

... I understand that you all have parents, families and children, and jobs.

So I bear no malice.
